Career Workshop at Al Shirawi Interiors: Introducing Students to Design, Safety & Production

Bridging classroom learning with real-world design experiences Al Shirawi Interiors!

There’s nothing quite like seeing young minds light up with curiosity and creativity! Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Year 10 students from Arcadia British School at our office for a Career Workshop.

Diviya Naval, our Design & Business Development Manager, kicked off the session by sharing her journey and giving students a behind-the-scenes look at how Architects & interior designers think, solve problems, and navigate their day-to-day work. It was wonderful to see them connecting with the ideas and asking thoughtful questions.

The experience was made even richer thanks to Assistant Manager HSE Jilson Joy, who introduced the students to workplace safety practices, and Deputy General Manager – Production John Thimothy, who guided them through a hands-on tour of our production facilities. Between learning moments, students enjoyed interactive activities and fun games across our office premises, turning the day into a perfect blend of learning and enjoyment.

Moments like these remind us why it’s so important to nurture curiosity, inspire creativity, and support the next generation of designers and innovators.
