AMERICAN UNIVERSITY OF SHARJAH – CAR PARK BUILDING

Oasis Enterprises (Al Shirawi Group) and Al Shirawi Solar are proud to be delivering the new AUS car park building in Sharjah. Consisting of 600 parking spaces across 3 levels, with ELV security systems by Oasis and a 504.68 kWp rooftop solar system by Al Shirawi Solar. Once operational, the solar system will generate 757,020 kWh/year and avoid 355,800 kg of CO2 annually, powering smarter, more sustainable campus infrastructure.

We’re proud to be part of a landmark development taking shape at the American University of Sharjah (AUS). This project that brings together two of our companies, Oasis Enterprises (Al Shirawi Group) and Al Shirawi Solar , working side by side.

Spread across a built-up area of over 19,000 sq.m, the new multi-level car park building spans ground level, first floor, and rooftop, plus external parking. It is adding 600 parking spaces to campus, including dedicated bays and a smart parking guidance system to help drivers find a space quickly and cut down on congestion. For a growing campus community of thousands of students, faculty, and staff, it’s a much-needed upgrade which is actively underway.

Oasis Enterprises is delivering the ELV backbone of the facility such as gate barrier systems and security networking, ensuring the car park will be safe, controlled, and future-ready from day one.

Al Shirawi Solar is installing and commissioning a rooftop solar system that will turn the car park structure into a power plant. Once operational, the system will deliver:

504.68 kWp of installed capacity
757,020 kWh of clean energy generated per year
355,800 kg of CO2 emissions avoided annually

That’s the equivalent of powering hundreds of homes with clean energy, every single year, on top of providing shaded, covered parking for the AUS community.
