Control of CO2 Emissions

Here are the palpable initiatives implemented:

  • Through digitalising the paper-intensive works like PPM/RM reporting and online supplier invoice portal ESG has 2.5 tons of CO2.
  • ESG has saved 2.7 million paper and 300 trees in 2021-2022 which have contributed significant reduction in CO2.
  • Refrigerant gas used for chiller coil testing and commissioning is recovered and reused. This avoids the release of ozone-depleting and greenhouse gases into the environment.
  • Oasis coils and coating focus on sustainable product development to reduce the heat load, thus indirectly controlling the CO2 emissions through the production and sale of heat pipe and heat recovery wheel.
  • Utilizing water-based paints instead of a solvent-based has had a significant reduction in VOC in coating works.

Resource Conservation

Our group companies have installed 2 Million square feet of Solar panels producing more than 26 MW by saving approximately AED 14 Million since commissioning.

Here are the palpable initiatives implemented:

  • Manufacturing facility powered by solar energy and ESG facilities retrofitted with LED lighting.
  • Natural ventilation reduces 30% of the energy in warehouses.
  • Energy Star AC and automated thermostats in offices improves energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  • Sensor lighting system reduces 20% of energy in corridors
  • Facilities installed with 42 sensor taps, and 30 waterless urinals that help in overall 20% water reduction through recycled water usage.
  • Installed treatment plant recycles hazardous water for plantation instead of DEWA water.
